What is this game?
A review-based quiz where you identify popular Steam games from comments written by real players.
Are reviewer names and avatars shown?
Public Steam profile details can appear when available. Private or unavailable profiles use an anonymous Steam-player label.
Where do the reviews come from?
Reviews come from Steam users. A public nickname and avatar are shown when Steam makes them available; otherwise the reviewer stays anonymous.
Are reviews automatically translated?
No. Steam returns reviews written in the requested language. When too few are available, the page uses English and tells you.
How does scoring work?
In Test mode the three clues are worth 100, 70 and 40 points. Guess mode starts at 1,000 and loses 100 for each extra review.
How do I earn XP?
Log in before starting a round. Correct answers award server-verified XP to your CPSCount profile, subject to an hourly limit.
Is it free and mobile-friendly?
Yes. It is free, requires no installation, and adapts to phones, tablets and desktop browsers.
Do I need a Steam account to play?
No. The quiz runs on CPSCount and does not require a Steam account, download or installation. A free CPSCount account is only needed if you want to earn XP.
Which games can appear in the quiz?
The quiz uses a curated selection of popular Steam games from many genres. Each round chooses a title and fetches anonymous public reviews as clues.
Where can I play the game where you guess Steam games?
You can play all three versions here on CPSCount for free in a browser. Nothing needs to be downloaded or connected to your Steam account.
Which Steam guessing mode should I start with?
Start with Steam Game Review Test for four answer choices, use Guess the Steam Game by Reviews when you want to type the title yourself, or choose Parameters for comparison-based deduction.
