Half a second is enough
Every round hides a well-known hit. You start with just half a second of audio — often that's all a trained ear needs to catch the intro, the beat or the voice.
How do I play?
Press play to hear the first half-second of a mystery hit, then search for your answer and guess. Skips and wrong guesses unlock longer listens: 1, 3, 5, 10 and finally 15 seconds.
How do points work?
The earlier you guess, the more you earn: 1000 points after half a second, 800 after 1 second, 600 after 3, 450 after 5, 300 after 10 and 150 after 15. Points and guessed songs feed the global leaderboard.
Can I replay the snippet?
Yes — replay the unlocked portion as many times as you like before answering. Only skips and wrong guesses unlock more audio.
Where does the music come from?
Official 30-second previews streamed directly from Apple's servers, with Deezer as a backup source. Nothing is hosted on CPSCount.
Which songs can be the answer?
A few hundred of the most-streamed hits across many genres and decades, so every mystery song is one you could reasonably know.
Do I need an account?
No — anyone can play. But points, songs guessed and leaderboard ranking only count for logged-in players.
