How is the Tanks 1990 leaderboard ranked?
It depends on the mode. The Infinite board ranks players by the most enemy tanks defeated in a single run. The Level board ranks players by the highest level they have ever reached in the deterministic campaign. Use the tabs at the top to switch between them.
What ends an Infinite run?
Your run ends when the eagle base is destroyed or you run out of lives. Until then, tanks keep arriving in waves from all four borders. Whatever number of tanks you have defeated when the run ends is what gets submitted to this board, and an End game button lets you bank a run whenever you like.
How do I climb the Level board?
Clear campaign levels. Each stage is won by destroying every enemy tank while keeping your eagle alive, and clearing a level advances you and records your highest level reached. Failing a level costs nothing — you simply retry — so the board reflects how far through the growing campaign you have pushed.
