Input Lag Checklist for Online Tests and Browser Games
Input lag is the delay between your action and the visible result. For CPS tests, reaction tests, rhythm games and arcade browser games, the delay can come from the mouse, keyboard, monitor, browser, operating system or game loop. This checklist helps you isolate the likely cause.
The quick input lag checklist

How to isolate the problem
Change one thing at a time. If your reaction score improves on a different monitor, the display was probably part of the delay. If your CPS score changes only with one mouse, the switch, debounce or shape is likely involved. If every test feels delayed after opening heavy software, the system may be stuttering.
Browser games and online tests
A browser page cannot remove all hardware latency. It can still be useful because it measures the setup you actually use. The trick is repeatability: same browser, same page, same input device, same test length. That turns a casual web score into a practical setup benchmark.
