Why two dice differ from one number draw
The notation 2d6 means two six-sided dice. Their totals range from 2 to 12, but 7 is more likely than 2 because more combinations add up to 7. Each individual die is uniform; the sum of several dice is not.

Can I roll multiple dice?
Yes. Choose 1 to 100 dice. Every die in the same roll uses the side count you selected.
Can I use custom dice?
Yes. Choose any whole side count from 2 to 1,000. The values run from 1 to that number, including both ends.
Are the dice fair?
Each face has the same probability, using browser cryptography and rejection sampling. Rolls are independent, so repeated faces are possible.
